Canada Day Success!

Canada Day was a success! We had over 500 people of all ages attend our celebration! We had a wonderful flag raising ceremony put on by the RCMP, Kindersley Legion, and the Air Cadets. Afterwards, we had cake, cupcakes, food, ice cream and refreshments. A folk band played in the main banquet area. There were activities for youth such as decorating travel journals, pin the tail on the beaver, and scavenger hunts. Outside there were wagon rides and tractor rides. Throughout the day many people toured the museum. To top the day off, there were fireworks just off Thompson Drive. What a great celebration!
