Fifties Fair Paint Pouring

Fun, fabulous friends and fantastic food makes a great event. Everyone enjoyed the experience with some coming the next day with their children. They used up the left over paint and did an awesome job. The following pictures are of some of the art created by the fabulous, creative women that joined us. I have chosen the best pictures that I was able to take.

Thank you everyone for coming out and making the event a great success.

Marco, the Museum Cat!

Marco the cat was hiding. I thought he had escaped and so did Anna. He was inside until we got the cat house area fixed so he could not escape.

We looked for him, called him and he finally decided to grace us with a look. We caught him and took back to his outside home.

Contest Time

Hello Everyone,
There is a contest happening here at the Tourist Centre. Check the poster for the details. We have put up posters around town.

Peace on a Backroad

Yesterday I chose to travel the back road to town. There are days I just do not feel like dealing with highway traffic.

As I drove the back road (at the speed limit) farmers waved at me as I went by. The sun was shining and the views were beautiful. It thought about stopping and taking a picture. I decided not to ruin the sense peace and enjoyment I was having at that moment and continued on my way.

Today I did not get to take the back road as my car does not do great on wet gravel roads. I took the already busy highway and it did not have the same feel.

Have safe travels and from time to time take a back road.
